Baroque Scrollwork Diamond Signet Ring
Ornate scrollwork rises across the lower half of this oval signet ring like a fragment of antique engraving, balanced by a single flush set natural diamond above. The contrast between intricate handwork and polished gold gives the piece a distinctive old world elegance.
Made to order in solid 14K yellow gold, the oval face measures approximately 11 by 9 mm. The band is approximately 2 mm wide at the back and 1.5 mm deep. The scrollwork is engraved by hand, while one round natural diamond weighing approximately 0.03 carat is flush set into the face and selected in G color and SI1 clarity.
Subtle variations in the engraving are part of the character of a piece finished by hand.
