Shipping, Returns, and Refunds Policy
We pride ourselves on creating unique, meticulously crafted jewelry. Because every piece involves specialized handmade techniques and enamel work, we have established the following policies to ensure transparency and maintain the highest standards of our craftsmanship.
Order Processing & Production Time
We begin the production process as soon as possible after your order is confirmed. Because our jewelry is entirely handcrafted and features intricate enamel detailing, please allow an estimated 4 to 16 weeks for the completion of your item. Please note that this timeframe is an estimate; while we always strive to complete and ship your piece much sooner, the nature of artisan jewelry means that some designs require this dedicated time to perfect.
Shipping
Once your piece is completed, it will be securely packaged and dispatched.
Customs and Import Taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply to international shipments. Otto Rings is not responsible for delays due to customs.
Shipping & Risk of Loss
All items are shipped without additional shipping insurance.
Transfer of Risk: Once a package is handed over to the shipping carrier and a tracking number is issued, the legal responsibility for the item transfers to the buyer. Otto Rings is not liable for delays or delivery errors caused by the carrier or customs.
Delivered Status: We are not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" but claimed as not received (e.g., theft after delivery).
Lost or Stolen Package Resolution
To protect both the buyer’s investment and the artisan’s labor, we offer a Remanufacturing Agreement in the event of a verified lost or stolen package:
In cases where a package is confirmed lost in transit or stolen, Otto Rings and the buyer agree that the resolution will be the re-production of the original item (or a piece of equivalent value).
No cash refunds will be issued for lost or stolen items. This ensures the buyer receives their jewelry while honoring the materials and craftsmanship involved.
Returns & Refunds
To protect the bespoke nature of our work, we operate under a strict return and refund policy:
Custom and Personalized Orders: Any piece that features custom designs, personalization, or specific sizing tailored to you is created exclusively for you. Because these items cannot be resold, all sales on custom and personalized jewelry are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for these items under any circumstances.
Standard Orders: For non-customized standard items, if you are not completely satisfied, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. The item must be completely unworn, in its original condition, and returned in its original packaging.
Return Shipping Costs: Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original, undamaged condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Cancellations
Because we prioritize prompt production, we only accept order cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. After this window, the crafting process or material allocation has already begun, and the order cannot be canceled.
Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
